Question. Write the character sketch of Dr. Sadac with reference of his quality of patriotism and humanity.

Answer. Dr. Sadao Hoki was a famous surgeon and scientist. He lived happily nearby the beach with his wife and two children He was very loyal & patriot towards his country. His wife Hana was also a sympathetic, Kind, obedient and faithfu wife. He loved his wife Hana very much. He met her accidently in America while his higher education. One night they saw someone is crawling on the beach. They went there and found on escaped prisoner of war who was wounded. First they thought to through him back in the sea or inform the police because they hated him as they were Japanese. Dr. Sadao knew ds a doctor his first duty was to save life if he could. Finally He decided to treat and took him to his home. Dr. Sadao did an operation. During the operation his wife helped him lot. But their servants were option

against them and left their house. Being a patriot Dr. Sadao told everything before General. He sent American by his own boat and advised him to stay on a small island, which was not far from the there. He mentioned nobody comes there and that is the right place to wait for a Korean boat. He gave him a lot of food, water and a flash light. He told him to give him two flashes if he runs out of food and one flash if he was still on the island. This shows Dr. Sadao was sympathetic, loyal, patriot and honest person.

Answer. Hana was a sympathetic, Kind, obedient and faithful wife. She loved her husband Dr. Sadao very much. She helped her husband to take decision to bring the wounded enemy his home. She knows the feeling of her husband and fully cooperates with him. As all the servants denied serving the American enemy, so she decided to serve him herself. She washed him herself because he was very dirty. She fed him as he was very weak to eat. She assisted her husband during operation. 

Question. Why did the General not sent Dr. Sadao to the battlefield? 

Answer. Dr. Sadao was a successful doctor and famous scientist. He had specialty in healing wounds. The general used to be ill ata so he did not send him with the troops because he knew that Sadao has ability to cure his diseases. He did not have trust any other doctor. Actually he was selfish.
