Our constitution considers girls and boys ggual. But facts are too far from reality. As per data females ratio is declining all of day by day. The figure is around 667 girls as against 1000 boys. It is a matter of big concern for all of us. This data shows that many people in India do not welcome the birth of girl chito as the birth of a male child welcomed with great joy.
When a boy is born, friends and relatives exclaim congratulations. Here a son means insurance. He will inherit his father's property and get a job to help support the family. When a girl is born, the reaction is very different. Some women women weep when they find out their baby is a girl because, to them, a daughter another expense. Due to the reason female child is killed even before it's born.
It is well known that women play an i important role in the progress of any country. Today Girls are as capable as boy in any sector: Women are playing very important role in govt & society as a doctor, administrator, businessmen, artist, engineer etc. Throughout the nation, 8 march is celebrated as a Women Day But it is useless until they are discriminated in society. The time has come the government as well as society neede to come forward to uproot this social evil Culprit must be strictly punished who involve in feficide.
